The Nitecore i4 is compatible with a range of batteries, from IMR, Li-on and Ni-MH/Ci-CD batteries. The i4 model can charge four batteries simultaneously. The entire process is monitored, with five LED light indicators to show the status of the battery. The i4 stops charging once all five LED lights are lit and the battery is fully charged, even if the battery is not removed from the charger.
Intelligent Circuits. Automatically detects the type of battery and chooses appropriate charging voltage and current. Selects the correct charge mode based on battery status detected. Stops charging after battery is fully charged to prevent over-charging, enhancing battery life and preventing any safety issues. Constructed from ABS fire retardant materials for enhanced safety. Built-in heat dissipation design to prevent overheating and stabilize charging. Spring-loaded battery contact plates, made from pure copper, helps minimize contact resistance: more precise charging and less heat generation. Reverse polarity protection: LED lights quickly flash to indicate the battery has been inserted backwards and needs to be removed and reinserted to safely charge.
